Help ID please

[dirt diva]

A few finds.Any ideas on the square rock,and
the petrified looking thing All found in the same field.

Nice finds dirt diva. The square piece looks to be a Gorget Preform. It has been definitely been shaped that way by man and they just never got around to drilling the holes. The white piece looks to be a fossil of some kind and the point on the far right in the first picture looks to be a Dalton or Dalton variant.

I agree with SRV. Around here theat type of gorget is called a hump back. Nice finds not seen you in a while. Good finds all of them.

its kind hard to go back out,during my days off.Did get out the other day

Same here. I am as dark as the ancients and it's 100 with heat index of 105. Crazy hot this year. Looks like you might be on an old site as well. Hope you guys find a bunch. That broken base is very old.

I see where you get the resemblance ;in the shape,but this is solid like rock.The outside is kind of flaky
but you would really have to pry it off.Then it chips apart.

Well it's only because I've seen one nearly identical.
Dirt Diva loafstones are probably atlatl weights, but I think no one really knows.
