I honestly don't know if it has any Military significance. But lack of stock on the anchor depicted on your find makes me think not.

Maybe it's some sort of mooring bouy ID tag. It looks like it may have spent some time in the water :dontknow:

My first though was a cow tag, but not with an anchor. :icon_scratch:
What type of metal is it made from?

A cleaned up pic of the front and the back might help. :thumbsup:

Navy cow. My brother was career Navy. More than 30 years...

Seriously though, North and Judd made horse equipment marked with an anchor logo.

There also was Anchor brand horse equipment. I saw Anchor Brand hame hooks on-line.

Bottom line: Not military.
