🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Help identify antique dagger? Ivory

Hi I am seeking information on this piece. Its shaped like a boot knife type dagger. Has sterling and the handle is what i think is ivory. As did hot pin test did not melt or release a smell. And under black light has thst glow that you see with ivory. But could be bone? I guess just trying to figure out date or any information. No makers marks. Thank you fir any help and thoughts you may share.

It is around 9.5 inches

The length is within what some letter openers are. So that can be an avenue to search.

Looks like it's sharpened only on one side.

Maybe a fruit knife.

I see growth rings in the handle, consistent with ivory. Bone would not have them.
