Help identify please

Hello everyone! I was hoping to get an ID on an item I found in my backyard while gardening. I’m not sure if its Native American related or just something left over from previous tenants.

I believe it is a modern drilled camel tooth. I've got a bunch around here someplace. Mine came from a bead shop in the 1970s.
