Believe it or not, I found these 2 bottles about 8" deep while metal detecting. They were in a local park and can't believe I didn't break them. I'm not sure how old they are. The glass is far from perfect with waves and distortion throughout. The one has a partial tag (see first picture) with the letter H exposed. The sides of the bottles say "No deposit No return" and "Not to be refilled". The bottom says " 1 way beverages" and numbers 2301, 6f, 2998-ck. They also say 1 quart on the lower sides.

Old Hires bottle
if I had to guess, I’d say 1970’s. Thats about when the “no deposit“ fad hit.

Old Hires bottle
if I had to guess, I’d say 1970’s. Thats about when the “no deposit“ fad hit.
Thanks, sounds about right. I remember those days. The bottle glass imperfections made me think older.
