Was hoping someone might recognize this pin. I was thinking military as a lot of the military items I found in the past had the same back mark NS MEYER INC
any help much appreciated

Well I guess all I need is to post it and then I stumble upon it lol appears that it it a Cadet, ROTC or Civil Air patrol 2nd lieutenant insignia . From the mark possible 1940-1950’s
