Help identifying coin found metal detecting

I found this coin the other day on the beach while Metal detecting just wondering if anybody can identify it thanks for the help

I can't tell, but it's a relatively "modern" milled coin.
 

Modern? Sheesh, that thing looks 500 yrs. old to me! They must have given it the acid treatment or something. Gary
 

Possible a George II half-penny copper (1737ish) Hibernia - My best guess but I am curious I can't tell if it once had a cross in the middle and it would help if it had quarter next to it for scale.

Here’s an update on the coin with the help of another forum they have identified it for me it’s a Centimes - Baudouin
