help identifying "coin"

I found a blank coin at work in a roll of quarters and wanted some thoughts of what it might be exactally. It's the same size as a quarter but appers to be pure copper (I think) the rim is just the copper tone with no silver color at all. Some pics:

is it magnetic?

I got the coin a while ago and I think I checked then but don't remember. I'm away for the weekend so I'll check again when I get home. I don't think it was though

Ok some updates: coin isn't magnetic coins. Ridges don't line up with quarter ridges and there are 100 of them if I counted right
