Help iding 140 yr old coin

Hit this little beauty in my nickel box just now. Hard to make out the words on the 10 side but they are there. Last pic is the date I think. Right of the 10. Looks like 1873.... Anyone knows what it is?

looks german to me!
At least that crazy eagle with all the zesty feathers - thats a motif on my silver german coins.
