Well I was not able to get out this weekend but Friday I was able to hit a park by work at lunch time. Did not find much but I did get a 1964 Rosie and this cool cuff button. I don't think the button is old but I guess it could be. Found not to far from where I found a 1897 Barber dime and it was a few feet from the Rosie. There are no backmarks that I can make out and it looks to be a two piece button. On the front of the button is the liberty bell with 1776 written on the front. Any help IDing would be appreciated.

Thanks and HH

Nice looking button. If you could post a picture of the back that might help date it.

The back is corroded but here it is...sorry about the out of focus picture.

If you need help, best put it in the right forum - 'what is it?'

Silver and a button!! 8) Sounds like a GREAT hunt to me! ;)

Congrats! Nana :)

Wow that is one cool button.
I wouldn't mind adding that one to my collection.
Judging from the depth you found it, it probably is pretty old.
Nice find.
