Thanks for the info, I found it while fishing in a river. I have some more bottles i will post pics of later for ID. again Thanks for helping

Definitely Champagne, probably not all that old, sorry. They still make them with the heavy lip collar, which is how/where the wire holds in/down the cork.

Yup... fairly new champagne bottle... no doubt.

Question: Are old bottles worth anything? I have an area with literally hundreds of them. Used to find old Coke bottles, etc... and others from 1800's.

Never gave them a 2nd look.
