Help On Dating This Spoon Please

Found this spoon today....I know about Wallace and Sons, but what I don't know is when they made spoons for the military...any help would be nice thanks for looking and HH - Rob

I found a spoon just like that today. I thaught the US would be military. I took a pic but the Pixels were set to high so the pic is to big to post. If you find out what It is keep me posted so I know what I have. I found a total of 7 spoons, 3 kids ring, 6 weetes,1 1895 indian, 1 play money, and 2 kids watches from a fair. And lots of clad today at a old park I have been hunting. Good luck this year.

Okay, it says that Wallace made flatware for the military from WWI-WWII. That is the standard pattern for the enlisted mess during WWII. Also it's US Army because the US Navy has USN on it, always has. It's a cool spoon. Just think, one of our country's heros ate off that spoon. :thumbsup:

Seriously - I have about 30 of them - my dad brought them home from overseas during WW2, (along with a couple other styles), so I'm going to date it during WW2 also.
