When I was young I discovered a book on sea treasure hunting in my local library. I took it out many times. It recounted the adventures of a diver/treasure hunter back in the days of hard hat diving. He also had a 'bell' with manipulating arms. It had photos of his exploits and sailing schooner. Actually, he wrote more than one book. It was written/published in the 1930's. I was mesmerized by it. Anyways, I was hoping to buy copies of his books but sadly the years have extracted a toll on my memory. If anyone knows of a treasure hunter/author from the 1930's and 1940's that fits the bill, please share his name. Thank you.
