Hello every one, my name is Wes and this is my first time to post on this awesome site. My best friend Gary, just got his first Detector,and he is picking it up rather quickly. He found this button and it was corroded , so we cleaned it up and would like if some one could tell us what this button is and maybe how old it might be.
We would both be very grateful for any responses. Wish you all a successful day of Detecting and great finds.

Wes, if those are ducks and the sunrise. i believe it is a button off of an old hunting coat. I have no idea of the age.

Well from the pic it looks like it may be called paris back button.
My button book does not give a time frame these were made,but most of this type are usually mid 1800s to early 1900s.
