Help what kind of rock is this????

I love finding rocks everywhere I go, but no clue what I'm actually finding. Any idea what kind of rock this is or if it's special in any way since I've only ever found this one.

Welcome to Treasurenet. You may have better luck posting that in the Rocks/Gems forum. To me it looks like black Tourmaline with Quartz. But I'm just guessing.
