It is a Spanish Reale. Hard to tell which variety though because the reverse photo is quite blurry. Not sure if you can get any detail off of it. Look at the 9 o'clock position and see if you can read an: R, 1R, 2R, 4R or 8R. That will tell you what type of Reale you have.

It looks like it says, CAROLUS.III.DEI.GRATIA.1776. on the front, and what I think HISPAN.ET..something on the back when I enlarge it and play with the lighting?

Spanish Carlos silver reale, used extensively as currency in the Americas. Judging by size either a 1 or 2 reale. Nice find.

The date is definitely 1774, and it is a Spanish silver 1-Reale coin. The 2-Reale coin is as wide as a US quarter-dollar. Creskol, an 8-Reale coin is the size of a US silver dollar, because that US coin was based on the 8-Reale coin. Same reason the size of our US quarter and half-dollar are approximately the same size as a 2-Reale and 4-Reale coin.

I'm pretty sure it's a Carlos III 1/2 Reales as it looks to be close in size to the dime you have in your hand as well. I found one myself, 1789.

An 8 Reales is very big, will cover almost 3 fingers. A 2 Reales is bigger than a quarter, but smaller than a half.

You can research coins at The Coin Database. I use it to help identify my coins all the time.

I can't see the mint mark on the rear. Here is a link to the 1774:
