I made a hunt this morning at my "I don't have nowhere else to go" early 1800's plantation house. I got it pretty well hunted out but got a few hits still. The top row is all unidentified iron objects, a hand forged piece of chain, a buckle, 2 wheats, Lincoln, and a button the I hope some one can ID. Not sure what the 2 bottom left objects are but are both brass. Thanks!

Is that a barrel band?
When I first dug it up that's exactly what I was thinking but didn't want to say anything. I still have not cleaned it up and I'm no firearms expert but it seems to have a sling swivel or something like that on one side. Here are better pics.

looks like a barrel band to me although I'm not sure what it's from

I don't think enfields were made with brass barrel bands.
