Help with ID please

This was found off the coast of Terciera in the Azores. I tried to get a decent ID on it here before but i dont have the photography knack. I found another camera and figured id try it again. Any help would be appreciated since i dont even have an idea as to where to start my research.

Here's what I did...

I googled for some coins from the Azores, soon figured out all I was finding was newer coins so I read a little deeper and realized that my searches were also comming up with coins from Portugal. Realizing the link I quickly looked for older coins from Portugal and soon found the one you had. Seemed simple enough at the time.

Bada-Boom, Bada-Bing... it was done. 8)

You can plug the basic information into e-bay and see what comes up... try every week or so till one comes up for sale. Thats a lazy way to figure it out...
