Help with my Minelab Safari tones and values?

Ok I am new to the sport. I am digging up everything to get use to the machine and sport. Understanding that gold is in the same range as alot of junk. I am having some Good luck ! However I am getting alot of steel and junk metal in the higher numbers along with some silver and clad. what can I do to try and isolate some of the crap metal thats beeping in the high range? thanks for any help
