Help with native American pottery mark.

I try to stay away from pottery, but once again I got suckered in. It was only a couple of dollars, so what the hell. I need help with what tribe and if anyone knows the mark, it would be greatly appreciated. The mark looks like MHY.

Seems kind of plain for a Hungarian piece, skillfully made though.

Just doing a bit of tidying up on some older threads, mainly for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

This identical one has its original paper label on the bottom confirming it’s “Made in Hungary”. Asking price looks very steep to me.
