✅ SOLVED Here is one that has me baffled

I found this "button" the other day when I found that U.S. Official's Button I posted earlier.

I thought it was junk, but decided to work on cleaning it a bit last night before I tossed it. Maybe I am seeing things, but it looks like it has a "ghost" of a horse and rider on it.

The back looks like it has the remains of attachment points at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions and has traces of white oxidation of some sort.

I think it may have been copper over iron but I am not sure about that. It measures 23mm in diameter.

I marked this as solved, but I'm thinking this one is probably unsolvable.

I got an email back saying this may well be an early Dragoon Button.
