Hey Baby, That Sure Is A Nice Adz.

I went back down to the spot that hadn't been plowed in 70 years until just a few weeks ago and I found a few more pieces, including one of the nicest Adz I have ever found. This thing is pretty much pristine. It doesn't have a mark on it and no damage whatsoever. I also found a nice Hafted Scraper, a decent Triangle Point, and a bunch of field grade pieces. Not bad for just about 3 hours of hunting. I got soaked twice by the pouring rain or I would hunted longer, but a buddy and I are going back today to hit the rest of the field I didn't get to hunt.

The video didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, but it's still not bad.

This site is probably most noted for learning and I would hate to deter anyone from posting anything questionable. Geofact or artifact... I just feel that a lot of good folks will shy away from posting anything or chiming in with any input, due to fear from negativity?? Without new people, there will only be a handful left, this is JMO.

Nice Steve. I am liking the videos you are starting to make. Un like a lot of sites this happens to be a very large site and sometimes it takes awhile to read everyones post. That being said I can't believe you got that new field. I guess the mules missed that adze most have been kicked around several times by now. Look forward to what else you find. Great bit on that one. Rare for sure for a field find.
