Yep, unless than came in sets of three. Cool find, what size is it? Nothing in Stuart's book on tokens.
Thanks for the street cred, been way too long since I've dug any tokens. What yard? :D

i can't help any with id.

it's funny where the hole was made.
it did not hang where the k was important as a "k" or even the "5"

intimer, good question about the holes. It makes you wonder it what circumstance these were handed out. Were they sewed onto an object maybe as a bonus? Maybe they stacked on one of those spikes you put letters onto and were handed out off of it to patrons? I doubt if the hole has much importance other than such a function, so it probably didn't matter where it was. If a second one shows up with the hole in the same place then we've got some real thinking to do :icon_scratch:

Carl was reply #3.

Yep, the guy whose grammar isn't worth a plugged nickel. Or good for five cents. (Get it? Five Cents? I amuse myself) Thought of modifying my own post, then said nah, enough people may have read it, and besides, my friends know I rode the short bus.
Good to see ya posting Pipster, even if it was for a friend. Now find out where he dug it.
Carl
