ok, im still swingin the new 250 and ive had some luck in my yard today. found a 20 centimos coin (1987) not old but hey, its a find, 31 cents in clad, a broken thimble, a dog tag and a whatchamacallit? :icon_scratch: i need some help iding this thing, it gave me a gold signal, but its brass or tin, its got some weight to it. :help: it doesnt look to have any markings on it. was down 5-6 inches on a hillside. but yea, the 250 is becoming easier to use the more i keep swingin it. thanks for reading. :read2:

I think you have it photoed upside down.
I believe it is a scarf ring and that something
used to hang from it.
Good hunt

I think it is for a cowboy type tie. they look like rope or heavy string.

It looks like its for a bolo tie or maybe a flater peice of material scarf like a boy scout/campfire girls scarf.

Some nice finds glad your getting out an having a great time swingin that 250! :icon_sunny:

Nice stuff right there. Keep hammering away... jgas

I would go with that being from a bolo tie, popular in the 70's

I would agree, it is part of a buckle I have found quite a few of them, all different types and sizes, all have the same hook and strip on back as well

I would say Bolo tie also :icon_thumleft:
