So, I am mostly in Colorado but I do travel...mostly to the southern states, from Texas to Florida.
Relatively new to treasure hunting.
I decided to start with a mid (price) range detector, The Legend. I am mostly through the learning of the settings...still working on understanding the tone settings.
My first find was an Apple Airtag found on the New Smyrna beach in Florida. Funny story: It still worked. I connected my phone to it and, sure enough, the owner had set it to "lost." I called the number and a woman answered. I told her that I had found her Airtag. She asked me where I found it. When I told her she yelled, "That sonofab*tch!" I didn't ask... Anyway, I left it on a hook at my front door and she came by at some point and retrieved it.
I am primarily interested in finding coins/jewelry but I would like to eventually move to gold prospecting because it is pretty much all around me where I live.
