Welcome to Tnet. It appears to be livery-related, as a horse's head emerging from a Ducal coronet. Perhaps for the Abbot family, as below (although not the only possibility). Depending on size, it could be a button or some other kind of adornment.

To be sure which family it's for would need the full armorial, not just the crest, and/or a family motto.
