Hi new to this site hoping to meet fellow detectors in the gulf shore Alabama area

Hi I am new to this site and I'm a snowbird from Canada. I'm in the gulf shore Alabama area and hoping to meet some people that detect in this area.
I have lots of experience metal detecting and I'm currently I use an equinox 800. Hoping to meet other people in the area.

Hey Doug. Welcome to the forum.
I was just in Gulf Shores 3 weeks ago for a week on the beach. We go every year to relax and detect. If you come down next year we'll detect some.
Hit the parks on the beach. I had reasonably good luck although they've been hit pretty hard by now. If you haven't, try Desoto' s sea food restaurant.
