High tide, Platinum with 9 diamonds !

Hit the beach around noon today and dug a Platinum ring at 2pm, the peak of high tide. Waves were churning out a hole. This ring is well scratched and looks like it has been in the soup for a while. I thought it was a junk ring until I showed it to my wife ( better eyes ) and she says: " there is a mark here it says FL " " you mean PL ? " I ask, " Yes PL and RY " We had to blow up a picture to see the mark clearly. It weighs 15 grams and the 9 diamonds tested positive. This is the first Platinum ring after 2 years of hunting.

That is one beautiful ring. 15 grams is unreal. If you get it polished all those scratches will be gone. I,d use it for a thumb ring. It is one of a kind and worth BIG$$$$$. Mike.

Thanks all for looking. Foilman, no I have not figured out the RY mark yet, any info would be helpfull. Since finding this ring it's been all clad and kids toys, but my wife and I are going to Aruba for our anniversary next month and although I promised not the make her a detecting widow on an otherwise romantic getaway, those beaches are calling me...
