High tide, Platinum with 9 diamonds !

Hit the beach around noon today and dug a Platinum ring at 2pm, the peak of high tide. Waves were churning out a hole. This ring is well scratched and looks like it has been in the soup for a while. I thought it was a junk ring until I showed it to my wife ( better eyes ) and she says: " there is a mark here it says FL " " you mean PL ? " I ask, " Yes PL and RY " We had to blow up a picture to see the mark clearly. It weighs 15 grams and the 9 diamonds tested positive. This is the first Platinum ring after 2 years of hunting.

Ray don't feel bad, I didn't pick up any gold or silver jewelry until hitting the beach. The only silver I could find before were two silver dimes on dry land and one walker half. I was up there with you on the charter membership for clad

I can't believe how addicting water hunting is. I envy the hunters that find jewelry on the soccer fields or the play grounds, etc. In Pasco County, FL, just about every place is off limits unless it's private land.

Seek and thee shal find.....Hope to see you in the gold club soon....I hope to make the platinum club one day.
