Hit 2 old spots every this morning and here’s what it got.

First off going through a SERIOUS dry spell will humble even the savage beast so I’m showing the wheaties too. At 6:30am I went to my permission and got a Colt Revolver bullet, a round ball and just a fluorescent piece of glass Not being satisfied AT ALL I high tailed to New Orleans and hit the Fort where I’ve found a Revolutionary War Infantry Button and my grapeshot ball. Well I found 2 War Nickels 1943 & 1944, a Buffalo and 4 wheats 1910, 1919, 1949 and a ?. Also found half a key and my first iron round ball. I’m grateful [emoji1317]

I'm getting ready to head out myself , you had a good Civil War day , the Iron Ball is sweet & You killed the nickles .
I have not got a War Nickel in 2-3 years.

Hey Davers I put in 7 1/2 hours today and got every piece of iron you can imagine

Sound's familiar,
I hunted from 8.45 est til 4.15 .7 hours & got 1 fired En-field in the first hour then 4 hours later got a very smashed 3 ringer .
Those finds made the day worth it , but I did expect more from that area.
Another cool thing is I met a Nice Box Turtle & a Big 4 foot Snake , non -Venomous 'Rat Snake'

I rarely see Snakes, very rarely.

Good luck in the future , sounds like 'We' need new sites .
