hit big at the test hole on the river

here are some before and after of the bottles a dug on the river bank not a lot of bottles but they all came from that little test hole thats filled with water and i stopped because i need a better digging tool i think i am in agreement now with a few of yous there are a lot of good stuff yet to be found have some pics of bottles that i found that were broke like the union bottle (sure widh that was whole) anyway thanks for looking founf some more variations of the braun bros brewers today nice bottles!! also a pic of all the horse shoes i found so far except for 2 in the pic the shoes were all found by the bottles

What are the dates on the bottom of the Braun's ? Good luck on the rest of your dig....
 

The Union is a favorite of mine because of the shield on it, there are two known variants, the one you dug and a ladies leg variant. They were in business from 1905-09 at 126-130 Rairoad Ave., I also have an original crate dated 1909, it's one of my favorite pieces...

they have 1913 embossed on the bottom i guess thats their date? hey if your interested if you have time let me know i'll never need all the bottles that will come out of that area i'm looking for someone who is into the bottles to help we''ll split whatever gets found

yep the sheild is what got me too just wish it was whole but like i said in my post i just started to dig i'm hoping to find 1 in good shape
 

I am interested, maybe we can get together this week?? The 1913 is the date for the Brauns, I think they are found dated 1911-1917 and possibly later, I look forward to helping out.

If you don't find a whole one I'll be happy to give you one, I have several doubles in my collection...

thats good i'll be diggin all week unless a siding job my boss has been waiting for signed contract comes in i'll open the hole a little more the area we'll be hunting is 100-200 ft long and i think there are 100's of burried bottles there

That place keeps popping out some great bottles.Great to see you've got the Patterson New Jersey Bottle King joining you,only fitting.Hope you guys hit the mother load.
I'd love to join you guys just to see how it feels to find some real bottles.lol

almost forgot about this thing have no idea what it is found this with the bottles . its made of milkglass and is hollow maybe it had a cork in it and it was some kind of container ?
