here is a pic of most of the hutches I found so far this year. I gave some to friends and sold a few so there were a few more

had a short dig today but found somw neat stuff and took a few pics of where the river should be...lol. found a glass roller skate and old franks nectar a masons improved may 23 1871 lid a nice cuff link a millikens stove enamel jar and a few other things thanks for looking

found some awesome yellow ware plates a swinley a figural bottle a redware bowl a pottery spittoon and some other odds and ends thanks for looking

Spoke to my buddies, all agree it's a NJ redware and probably made very close to Paterson, make sure to grab every piece you can.

Daaang, those redware plates are sweet, killer keepers. Definitely dig around the area for more intact pieces, looks like a whole load was tossed. very nice!

Wow, I have not seen those bottles from NJ in a loooooooong time.

When I was growing up (Allendale), we had an old burn/trash pile behind the house. I dug up an entire hutch-worth of all sizes!
I only ever made it about 1/4 of the way through all those years on only the burn pile. Now I am beginning to wonder what remains in the rest of the yard.

I may have to pay a visit to the people who live there now, which are the ones who bought it when we moved. I also lived in Oakland, and then in Paterson (Front Street) where my parents owned an apartment building. I would love to check out that property too since it bordered the Passaic River. I sure miss walking down to Libby's Lunch for those All The Way hot dogs!

i saved santa

found santa today rescued him from the river ...lol . found a few hutches a 1892 spreitzer , a rice , a warren , a gould and a Morrison found a dr jgb & hijos bitters bottle a brass lamp base and a few other odds and ends if you look close and blow the pic up in the center to the left side of the tree is a herron that's as close as I could get to him thanks for looking

found quite a few hutches today and a few other things ,the amber flask is nice it has "try it" embossed on it the stopper is nice to the big amber has 1788 embossed all over it is a carstairs whiskey its newer from the 1950's and I think the one porclaine thing looks to me like some kind of mold part for a three ringer thanks for looking

found a hutch not listed on hutchbook. it is a c.graf carlstdat nj. also found a jar liner a murphys varnish company ad lid 2 pffanebeckers a p.rice a warren a nice cut glass stopper and a few other odds n ends tx for looking the coaster I found at sal. army store reminds me of harrys avatar
