"Hit for the Cycle" W/Pix; rileyboy

Made one stop today and picked up two ordered boxes. The first box only produced (2) 40%ers. The second box was a "winner". (1) Barber...1895, (2) Walkers...both 1942, (3) Ben's...1961,
1958-D, and a very high grade 1958, (3)...1964 and (37) 40%ers. Day's Total: (9)...90%ers and (39)...40%ers. Getting a Barber, Walker's, Ben's and 1964 Kennedy's in one box was a "Grand Slam" or "Hit for the Cycle" first for me. Only the third Barber I've ever gotten from the wild. Another first was getting a "double" ender roll ('67 on one end and a '69 on the other). Hope the pix come out okay. Keep at it!....it's out there.

Hello Rileyboy - I don't usually respond, but thought I'd say hi & congratulations. I've found 1 40%er from my last 3 boxes! Thanks again for the inspiration.

Hopeful Half-Hound is still around and tracking silver down all across town.

Congrats. That is a very nice box. I would say you hit for the cycle with a grand slam for the home run. According to Wikipedia it has only happened 8 times in MLB history.

Normally I call hitting for the cycle a 40%, JFK, Franklin, WL.

Thanks for all the kind comments. Yeah! I don't really know what "Hitting for the Cycle" in CRHing is, but getting a Barber, Walker, Ben and 64' Kennedy out of one box was a real "first" for me. It's out there....We just have to keep at it! Good luck everyone.
