No I dont think that I was being sarcastic.That these days this would be the argument. Alcohol Kills more people than Natural death and it will always be legal ,Now pot , why not meth some will argue...These days a whole new way of thinking.

well sometimes they need the spanking that mommy and daddy wasn't allowed by law to give em these days ,,,,you know those ass whippings that we used to get from our parents when we misbehaved in the old days that taught us how to behave like a adult should?---ala "second hand lions"

I am only 59 but I went thru both gulf wars (abit as a merchant seaman--on a ship) --however I have fought 3 men at once in a bar fight over a pool table --one tried to pull a folding buck knife from his hip case )note it was carried upside down meaning he carried it such a way to fast deploy it for easy flip opening --I notice things like that --that's why he got smaked with the cue ball off the table upside his head (eyes rolled back --out for the count)--before he got the knife opened-- guy #2 charged me only to get the dental work special the same cue ball rammed into his mouth knocking out several teeth --(he did not want to fight anymore as he laid on the floor mumbling in pain ---guy 3 also ran at me -- since I lost my grip on the cue ball hitting guy #2 --I grabbed the big heavy glass beer mug off the pool tables edge and whacked him in the face with it --he too no longer wanted to play anymore ---I got a 6 month ban from the bar owner --he told me --I saw it --it was 3 on one you had no choice -the three of them were bully types that liked to pick on folks 3 on 1 but finally met their match --but I best leave before the cops showed up --they went to the hospital --no one at the bar knew who the "stranger" was when asked by the cops --funny how that worked out ---PS THEY NEVER CAME BACK TO THAT BAR AGAIN

You are absolutely right Tommy. They're both illegal and neither should be anything but. They both have caused good people their lives while trying to keep them off the street. Opium Poppy is merely a flower, same argument.
Pathetic are states to want to make legal for merely a money grab. How can they justify trying to outlaw one carcinogen (cigarettes) for another but for a tax?

Watched 3 older guys (45ish) take on whole bus full (10-12) of young guys in a bar parking lot once......the younger ones all came busting out of that bus at once and even sprayed the older guys with fire extinguishers but within a minute or so the younger guys were scrambling to get back on the bus and lock the door.

Calling the cops often causes more problems than it solves, besides that the cops were not present to defend him.
