Iā€™m just showing the best finds I still have to look them up yet. It was a long walk and the water very high. I found the broken quartz first then a bunch of flakes and a couple of scrapers. Where Iā€™ve been finding the points it was a foot deep so I did a trick that Iā€™m not going to say but itā€™s a type of grubbing I use. I finally found a small point and a nice blade. I also found worked materials and flake blades. Itā€™s been a while since I found a nice blade so I was happy about that. Going back once the water drops.

Thanks itā€™s a Woodland site the blade reminds me of a Cotaco Creek but is probably a Tennessee River blade

A better picture of the small one. I just barely saw it there was a tree shadow hiding it. Sometimes it just makes me wonder how I see the ones I find.

Well I hope Iā€™m not getting on you guys nerves. Doesnā€™t seem like there is much conversation in this forum anymore. Whoever created the LIKE button probably made a few million with it. It was a good idea but at the same time some people like conversation. If you donā€™t do nothing but hit the like button people wonā€™t stay around imo. Unless of course you like the Ghost Town effect then just keep hitting that button.
Anyway I finally looked my recent find up itā€™s a first for me on the type. Itā€™s a Eva. Itā€™s ground along the base just like the description says. Early Archaic to which is older than I usually find.

Yeah, alot look but don't respond. I see post all the time where the people asking if this or that is a artifact (which it usually isn't) get more responses and attention than the actual artifacts.
