Holy mackerel, I finally found a silver Canadian dime!

After checking 45,000 dimes, I finally got a silver Canadian dime! It's the 1967 issue with a mackerel on the reverse. Who the heck puts a mackerel on a coin? LOL! Cool coin, though.

got 5 Canada silver dimes in about 200 boxes. oldest was 1957 & a few '68's

The lynx (quarter) is my favorite, the wolf is a bit harder to find.

Ive found about 100 here in Michigan. About 25 were 1968's, which I sold. Oldest was 1900.

The enclosed thread from several years ago, though written with regards to '67 Canadian quarters, equally applies to their '67 dimes as well. Same size, same weight, so, no way to tell an 80%er from a 50%er; thus you have a 65%er. Nice find.

Did you mean to say no way to tell between an 80%'er from a 50%'er?

Exactly. Whether they were 50% or 80%, the '67 Canadian dimes and quarters were (respectively) indistinguishable.
