50 cents today at thrift store.
Home-o-nize (later Hon Industries, now HNI) originated in Muscatine, Iowa. It gave employment to returning WWII vets in the late 1940’s. This recipe card box was one of their earliest products (aluminum).
I worked there for 42 years. I was happy to buy this old timer today. They are somewhat rare to find for sale in this area, often bringing $18-$25 when available.
