I bought some hornet spray for my wife to keep in the bedroom. Shoots 20 feet in a straight line and will disable you. At $2 per can it is cheaper and safer than pepper spray.

While it may temporarily slow 1, it is useless if there is more than 1or 2 intruders... No armed criminal is going to stop when confronted with wasp spray....

What is she going to say "stop I have wasp spray"? It may slow them down due to laughter.

1. Stop I have wasp spray.
2. Stop I have 12 ga loaded with buck shot...

Guess which one will work best....

An unloaded shotgun would work better than wasp spray.

Not trying to ridicule you, just being realistic.....

If I wanted to get to a woman or someone with wasp spray I would, only have to protect your face and a mask will do that, if the woman is armed with a shotgun I am out of that house as are 99% of criminals....

In military we had tear gas training and part of training is removing mask and still function.

I know how wasp spray burns I have got it on me..... But if face especially eyes and mouth are protected it will not stop serious intruder.

Thing is, he said he was going to leave. That should have given him a free ticket to just walk out of the house, right? I mean, he was not a physical threat to her anymore and, if you can believe anyone, it's the guy that was just about to rob you. I think he has a good case and can probably sue. Heck, just the sight of a gun scared him so bad he will have nightmares forever. People need to realize how traumatic it is to have a gun pointed at you. They need to remove guns from this home because they obviously aren't responsible people that can be trusted with guns.
