HOOD'S SARSAPARILLA

Did some salvage work in the flood debris I hauled to the new place and found that I have two different types of this bottle. How many different types are there? I also have an embossed Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce bottle and the neck is bent off to the side. No quality control back then I guess. Thanks, ss

Hey I got a L&P bottle stopper to fit your bottle! One of my favorite finds, I dont have the bottle so it sits on a pepper sauce era bottle late 1800's

Well you can beleive this or not I have a open pontiled Lea & Perrins, dug in New orleans, La. Unfortunley we were not careful and the neck popped off right at the shoulder due to thermal shock since it came from a well at about the 10 foot down level in the winter and we carelessly laid it out in the open. I have dug lots of them with theit glass stoppers but never another pontiled one. Hood's Sarsaparilla is one of the more common bottles an d I have seen varations in color , shape and lettering. I have dug them from newer dumps with applied lip but never a pontiled one.
