It is a vacation spot now. You can book reservations to stay there on the property. I would use a high clearance vehicle to drive there, but you know that the Subaru crowd has gone there with little to no damage to the undercarrriage. If you continue on past the resort there is another house at the very end of the trail. Now that section does require a true 4wd vehicle to get there and might be worth checking out.
