Hook's Dovetail

A knapper friend from MI makes real nice Ohio Flintridge dovetails. He set out to make a copy of a famous dovetail called the "Hook's Dovetail". I don't know the history of it but it's been known to collectors for a long time. My friend obtained a large slab of Flintridge and succeeded in making a copy. Larger, with better color. Here they are. Hook's on the right. Gary

I used to see the Hook's Dove at shows, the owner at the time used to visited the shows in Northern Indiana.
