Horse hardware maybe - solved - Civilian Rosettes

I think these are the same animal but different species. Found em' on a farm in SW PA that dates back to the 1860's. I think the front is tin or brass, I'm leaning towards brass and the backs are lead filled. Both are the same size, a little bigger than a half-dollar:

Hard to say really, but from the mid 1800's to the very early 1900's would be my guess on those.
