I posted on the Today's finds forum but was hoping to get some more specific information on the bar. Hopefully by posting on this sub-section I can get some more information.

I was hunting an 1880's site in Iowa and found a "good for 2 1/2" cents "in trade" token. On the other side it has:

Rosen Bar
314
S. Ervay
Dallas

Found it in the token catalog:
ROSEN BAR / 316 / S. ERVAY / DALLAS (TC-93589) Dallas, Texas (Dallas County), U.S.A.

Any idea how old it is? Any ideas on history of the bar? Any idea how to clean it better without destroying it? I've heard it's rare. While priceless to me (I'm keeping it), any idea of the value?

You're right, that is a very similar token. Still wondering what time frame and would love to find some information about the bar. Any history buffs out there?

I suggest you contact the Dallas Historical Society.
