Was found at a colonial cellar hole, Was assuming its same time period because 90 percent of the finds from the site date to the late 18th century. Was wondering because it is shaped like a shield if it could be possible military. Thanks Coop

I have seen one like this before someplace, but can't remember where at the moment. Anyhow, it is post colonial period, as it has folded or loop wire attachments, which I am pretty sure dates to the mid 1800's or so. I will continue to research and see if I can find out something.
