Horses and Greyhounds , oh my!

I got permission to hunt the yard of a large , turn of the century 2 story farmhouse with a slate roof (slate roofs usually = wealthy family). Hoping to find some old coins or jewelry...no such luck...mostly trash. I did find this hollow horse statue made of cast alloy with a copper or bronze coating. Apparently hit by a lawn mower. I found some pieces of it and glued them back together . I also found a greyhound made of some kind of heavy cast metal with a chrome type of plating. Perhaps an old hood ornament?

Sorry you did not find any coins/jewelry. But you have 2 cool finds there. Too bad the lawn mower broke the horse's leg.
