Hospital Floors

Ever noticed how the more serious the illness the higher the floor, like they just keep moving you closer to heaven depending on the seriousness of the illness. I've never seen an I.C.U. or critical care unit on the first floor.... seems they're always on the top floor, closer to heaven.

Not in my area.. I live in an area vastly populated by the elderly. The hospital is almost the old railway flats. 1st is the emergency room, then the ICU, the chapel, and the morgue. This is well planned for a quick turnaround of needed space. Al the sick people are scatted upstairs somewhere, but you never see them either
