Hot, damn hot, hot hot hot hot

Went out early to beat the heat ( didn’t work) anyway, hit my standing 1719 farm permission to try some spots we’ve either neglected to detect or didn’t spend much time at. I was going to hit a field behind the barn that’s covered in junk but there’s high tones everywhere. I got to the fence and noticed it was pretty badly overgrown, there was spots to detect but I didn’t feel like dealing with the tall vegetation so I’ll save it for fall or if the owner decides to mow it. Anyway, he has a half acre area where he processes the animals’ waste, old hay etc. he told me this area has always been used for that as far as he knows. It’s 07:15 and probably 84 degrees and the poop is ripe and I didn’t plan on spending that much time there so I touched it out. Started digging some clad, 2 nickels and 2 Pennie’s , nothing special, then I got another penny signal on my D2, 85-86 at around 6”, popped it out and was met with a fun little surprise 🤤 a 1834 half dime, a bucket lister for me, only my 3 capped coin and only my second half dime. Stay safe, this heat is no joke.
