BIG SILVER! Bucket Lister, FINALLY!!!

[BigWaveDave]

Bro. I’ve been looking for you for about 20 years. What led me to find you is a story unto itself. When I got to your hiding spot, the detecting Gods treated me so unfairly. I was going to find you with the Manticore, but the coil broke at the shaft! I’ll go down the warranty rabbit hole later on. You laughed at me when I told your property owner I’d be back. Yes, I drove 30 miles back home to grab my 800. An hour and a half reprieve for your ass. Kinda like hitting the snooze button, because you know I was gonna wake you up….
And when I did, you rocked my world! I didn’t realize you were snuggling with a V nickel until after I checked your grave again. Glad you got to take a 100+ year nap, but it’s time to wake up. I wanted you. I needed you. And now I have you.
Thank you, you old fugly Barber Half, it’s been great meeting you.

Thanks for looking!!!

A huge congrats on your first Barber Half !

A Barber Half was near the top of my "with a possibility of finding" Bucket List for along time.
At the very top ... a 1652 Pine Tree Shilling but finding one here in Ohio is not really worth talking about.
Anyway ... finally after 17 years I found my first Barber Half on the last hunt of 2025.
Then 6 months later I found my second one.
I looked at the second Barber Half sitting in the hole and said to myself ...
where the heck were you when I really need you !

Good Hunting !
