Four hunts in the same farm field yields a coin and musket ball each day and each coin is 101 years of age or older. The first coin was an Indian from 1900, second was a Coronet type large cent with no date, third was a 1911 Lincoln cent and today hit a nice Half Dime from 1853. Thanks for looking! HH Lloyd

Great coin..... love the patina on it

Wow, 1853!!! That's really amazing. That coin was around before Lincoln was president.

That's a beauty

nice detail on her, that coin looks like it was dropped right after circulation in the 1800s :sunny:

Great coin! Not only did you find a half dime, but you got a good looking one too! Congratulations! :icon_thumleft:

What a beautiful looking coin. I'd be thrilled to find something like that.
Way to go!

Went out again today in the same field and got another single coin but it was only a 1923 Lincoln! No musket ball this time but did get an unmarked flat cuff button and a broken harness bell. Fun finds though! Lloyd
