WOW those are some UGLY coins you found there, kalpinro. Of course, we know that under all the tarnish lies a coin of silver. Great find. Actually that what we need are more of the dirty, ugly coins out there. The tellers will be less likely to stick them in their pockets and leave them for us crazy roll hunters. :D :D

You are right those were nasty silvers. I agree with you on keeping them dirty and out of the hands of tellers!

WTG!! One roll's worth in one visit qualifies as a major score. Keep hittin' those little banks!

Now cmon folks, we cant be belitting those tarnished halves! Theyre just learning to blend into their environment and hide better, much like their less valuable but more plentiful clad cousins. I say, give those wily silvers a little bit of credit for making the hunt more interesting.

On a side note, the trip I posted about earlier yielded some heavily tarnished silver, looked like someone had slopped something corrosive on em.

Hey, I don't care what it looks like (as long as it isn't covered with poison or something nasty). Silver is silver.
Ugly ducklings they may be, but they still go ka-ching! when added to your collection.
Congrats and HH,
Bob
